In particular, just to the north of our premises is the wonderful Orrest Head. Where you can admire incredible views across Lake Windermere and beyond. After all, not only is walking a great way to enjoy the scenery without spending money, it can keep you fit and healthy too!
That’s why a summer holiday in Windermere is the perfect break in the Lake District. One that comes with plenty of walking routes nearby. Alternatively, a short bus journey and you can venture further into other regions of the National Park. Joining guided walks elsewhere, organised bike trips or just by going at it alone as you embrace your surroundings.
If you do go out for the day by bus, train or even boat, take advantage of combination tickets for discounts to the local attractions. The Lakes Aquarium or the Lakeland Motor Museum are two places of interested involved in such offers.
